3 BR Home in Ellsworth [High St Haven]

The house was comfortable and had everything we needed. Great communication with the host and we appreciated not having a list of chores for check out— super easy. It is on a busy street so there can be traffic noise but overall, we enjoyed our stay and would recommend.

We had 6 adults and a 1 yr old in this house, with plenty of room to spread out. The place has a terrific layout, allowing space/ privacy for everyone to have their own schedule. Lightfilled and child safe. Busy street out front but the back yard has an apple tree and fire pit and we saw deer a few times. Check in and out was easy. The host was very responsive , usually within an hour or less. Bar Harbor and Acadia are each 20-30 min away. Walmart, Home Depot, and Hannafords are within minutes and a good selection of restaurants nearby. Would stay here again!

The property, location, and host were excellent

Clean property with sufficient house supply. In close proximity of shops and restaurants. Easy check-in and checkout process.

The place is very cute. However we only had six full size bath towels for 8 people. I did reach out about it and did get a response but it wasn’t until we felt it was too late. We just washed what we had so everyone could use a towel. It was a little odd that most of the closets didn’t have a rod to hang anything. There were only 2 closets(the master and downstairs coat closet) that had rods so it was hard to find anywhere to hang anything or hang dry things. The other thing that I thought was a bit odd was there were not any blankets in the house. I had to buy one so I could sit on the couch with a blanket. We did open the closet as soon as you walk in the back and it had a cat pee smell. I know this is an animal friendly home which I love and we only smelled it in there. We didn’t smell it anywhere else in the home. I know everyone is different when it comes to beds but we didn’t care for the mattresses. We all struggled sleeping but for some it may be fine. I really did think the home was cute and would recommend people stay there but make sure you have extra towels and a blanket if you like to cover up with blankets outside of the bedroom.
