Quaint Cottage in Bass Harbor! [Fiona's Cottage]

Overall this was a great dog-friendly property! Loved the totally fenced in back yard- which is important for dog owners when you already have this luxury at home. Everything was super clean and well-kept. Host was also super responsive for any questions we had. A few things to note if you are considering staying here.... This house is located on a street that gives direct access to a number of very popular tourist attractions (lighthouse & hiking trails). The street does not have sidewalks, so walking your dog here can be a bit challenging during popular travel times during the day. Also, other than poop-bags, we did not find any additional pet amenities we have found at other properties (dog bowls, dog towels). Not a big deal, but you should definitely plan ahead! Nevertheless, highly recommended!

It would be really nice if the mattresses and towels were better quality. It was difficult to sleep.

We had a wonderful 3 weeks at Fiona’s cottage. It was bright, clean and super comfortable. The kitchen was supplied sufficiently to allow for several meals cooked in. The location was minutes to our favorite spots including Sw Harbor, Seawall and Little Long pond. Would definitely stay there again.

We loved our stay. Great little cottage with all conveniences needed. Very dog friendly which we appreciated. It’s a very short drive to Seawall and those coastal walks. Thank you!
